Bob was absolutely awestruck when the steam shovel arrived November 12, 2010
The steam shovel made quick work of things in it’s way.  You will notice there is a Magnolia tree just off the driveway… he never touched it!  The sidewalk was gone in a few minutes. November 12, 2010
Tree is still in place This is just the first dump truck… they eventually used 10 – 12 cubic yard dump trucks to haul off the dirt. November 12, 2010

All in a day’s work… the pool was dug. Bob said the operator was so good, he could have scratched your back with the shovel and not hurt you. This is a beach area which will be 18 inches deep November 12, 2010
The tree has been moved to a new spot Two off-duty firemen showed up on Sunday, November 14 th  and put the forms in. November 14, 2010
On Monday, November 15 th , a crew was waiting in our driveway at 5:30am waiting for the sun to come up so they could install the rebar November 15, 2010
On Wednesday, November 17 th , the crew arrived to install the gunite…  November 17, 2010
The gunite comes out of the hose at 120 psi. The tree November 17, 2010
It took about 4 ½ hours from start to finish to blow the gunite in the walls November 17, 2010

Workers came on Sunday, November 21 st  to lay the flagstone around the edge of the pool November 21, 2010

December 6, 2010 We decided to have pavers installed instead of pool decking.

January 4, 2011 Bob told me he was going to get plastered today… I told him not to drive!!  We can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!!
January 6, 2011 Weather forecast: 60 o  during the day… 40 o  at night… next week, nothing above the freezing mark. Oh yeah!!!  Bring on the heat!  We are ready for it! We can hear the waterfall in the Master bedroom… very peaceful!! ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]
