The Ticket Office provides several benefits for student organizations holding events at the Memorial Union Building (MUB) that require ticket sales:
1. MUB policy mandates that events charging admission at the MUB must use the Ticket Office.
2. The Ticket Office handles all financial aspects of ticket sales including money, reporting, and online sales at no cost to most student organizations. This makes the process very convenient.
3. Accurate attendance records, email lists of ticket buyers, and ticket scanning services help with tasks like dues collection and event planning. The Ticket Office staff aims to ensure customers have positive experiences.

reasons to use the Ticket Office.
5. Sure, you may have an
event that requires
extra box office time-
but the vast majority of
Recognized Student
Orgs can use the
services of the Ticket
Office for Free.
REASON 2: IT’S FREE (MOSTLY)

reporting. You just set
up the Ticket
Agreement and
advertise where they
can pay for their ticket.

7. Accurate attendance reports so you can now collect dues and
trip registration!
You have access to an email list of customers so you can send
updates or target advertising for future events.
Customers can have a physical ticket or an e-ticket. Your org
will have access to a scanner so you can make sure each
person coming in has actually purchased a ticket-and didn’t
just print a copy of someone else's.
No more need to check out a cash box
No more walking around with other peoples cash/checks!
Credit cards or cats cache are both accepted
