4.  September 2012 – Video of military vets from PG&E workforce featured at the Democratic and Republican
National Convention including comments with Julia Huang
 2012‐2014 ‐ Vets ERG allocates funding to AmpSurf in support of wounded veterans
 Fall of 2013 ‐ Blue Star Moms donation bins collecting items for military
 10/14/2014 – Hiring America airs interview with Julia Huang on YouTube and various local news outlets
 May 2015‐ SLO County Veteran Services donation bins collecting items for homeless vets
 5/7/1015 – PG&E Volunteers participating in the Homeless Veterans Outreach Day by visiting locations where
homeless veterans are likely staying/living and pre‐registering them for the Stand Down on 5/15/2015.
 5/15/2015 – 1st Inaugural Community Event: PG&E Sponsors the SLO County Veterans Stand Down
 4 tables at the event: CARE, Lifeline (Income Qualified Free Phones), ESA Contractor (Low Income Home Energy Auditing) and DCPP Job Recruiter with Fresno Chapter
President Nez Hosseini to represent the Power Pathways CSR Pilot Program in Fresno
 Volunteers from DCPP chapter members and Vets ERG board members as greeters and floaters
 Coordination with PG&E Government Relations re: charitable contribution ($2500 event sponsorship)

5.  Partner with Serving California’s Mighty Oaks Program offering our veteran status
members as peer mentors and sponsor programs
 Partner with Veterans Treatment Court offering our veteran status members as peer
mentors and fundraising
 Foster relationship with the SLO County Veterans Office and reinforce PG&E’s
commitment to the community we serve
 Continue membership outreach and target Operations and Security Departments shift
workers
 Recognizing members by reproducing veteran employee slide show on DNN during
Veteran’s Day week and maintaining presence with our members through positive and
informative communication
