Judy Herbert visited our physiotherapy department on 2 occasions to deliver in service training
sessions on Pilates and Gyrokinesis and Gyrotonic methods. Her presentations on the topics were
excellent, very clear and full of enthusiasm, which promoted some interesting discussions and
allowed us to see how these techniques could work in conjunction with our normal physiotherapy
approaches. To put the theory into practise we had a practical session where we experienced a
class and were then able to practise the different exercises and Judy was able to give us some very
useful feedback.
Since having our in service training with Judy we have been able to use both Pilates and
Gyrokinesis exercises to good effect and which has enhanced our practise.
