3. Previous Employer
– NORC at the University of Chicago
– We called home and cell phone numbers to convince
others to participate in the National Immunization
Survey conducted by the CDC.
– Record participating household’s answers to survey’s
questions.
– Locate children’s medical providers and submit shot
card requests.
4. Wages
– I started making $10.50 an hour.
– I was only allowed to work a maximum of 29 hours per
week.
– I was promoted twice and was given a 20 cent raise.
– My paycheck averaged at about $500 every two weeks.
5. Work Experience
– We were granted 6 minute breaks for every hour
– It was an outbound/inbound call-center job.
– We could swap shifts and add hours until you reach 29
hours on your weekly schedule.
– Calls have to be made within 25 seconds of the number
appearing on the screen otherwise your screen will turn
green and you will be penalized for your productivity.
6. Why I came to i.c. Stars
– I wanted to intern at i.c. stars because it is a great
opportunity to improve my web coding skills and
improve my chances of starting a professional career
after upcoming graduation.
