An early fascination with information theory led me to develop an interest in its manifestations in Video technologies. My narrow focus lately has been end user quality in internet and mobile videos. My interest in Videos started with an early involvement in Set Top Boxes and DTH. Later, I experimented with and prototyped GPU based electronics for a cockpit display system at Honeywell. I had a stint of intense Video related work at Celstream. This was mainly around various audio/video codecs and multimedia standards.
