TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN : RE Josua Toganivalu
In the eight years I have known Josua I seen him develop in all facets of his life. He has become a competent graphic
artist has taught Graphic Art at Fiji National University, and assisted with all areas of publicity and posters for the
Oceania Centre. He is reliable and always gets the job done on time.
He has shown a strong commitment to his painting since the days when he was a founding member of the Red Wave
Collective .He has grown as an artist, and this is reflected in the sales of his artworks in the Exhibitions held at The
Gallery of Oceanian Art, and locally.
I would like to acknowledge the contribution he has made to the Oceania Centre over the years .He has always been
willing to give of himself, often with little remuneration. He is a team player, and no task is too hard for him .During
his time as a resident artist at the Oceania Centre has been selected to paint commissions. These works stand as a
strong reminder of his capability, and ability to meet outside artistic requirements.
He is a hard working individual who manages to get the job done quietly in what seems an effortless way. He is
modest and shows maturity beyond his years.
I have no hesitation in recommending his application for employment. I know he will be an asset to any future
employer. He will leave a gap at the Oceania Centre which will be hard to fill.
I wish Josua well in the future, and know his motivation and positive approach in general will enable him to succeed,
in whatever he attempts.
Yours Sincerely
Johanna Beasley
