1. World of Work Careers Centre
Josh McDowell
Congratulations & well done on achieving your World of Work Skills Certificate!
On behalf of the University I am writing to confirm the successful outcome of your
recent World of Work skills interview at the World of Work Careers Centre. This is
the final stage of the World of Work Skills Certificate process, LJMU’s unique “World
of Work” programme.
As you know, the World of Work programme aims to ensure LJMU graduates have
world of work skills and experience which are highly valued by employers. By
completing the process, you have demonstrated your understanding of all three
World of Work skills areas: Self Awareness, Organisational Awareness and Making
Things Happen, and these have been verified by an employer interview.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for undertaking the World of Work
Skills Certificate process. We recognise the commitment and motivation needed to
achieve the award and we hope that the outcome will enable you to quickly develop
your graduate and personal career goals.
And did you know that the World of Work Careers Centre’s services are still available
to you as an LJMU graduate? Keep in touch by signing up to the LJMU WoW
Facebook page, to hear about job opportunities, careers and employability training
and specialist advice and support.
Graduates are also encouraged to join the LJMU Alumni Association, a network of
over 10000 ex-students that benefit from a range of networking events and services
that the University provides. The service is free and you can register at
www.ljmu.ac.uk/alumni.
Best wishes for the future,
Terry Dray
