Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated lab technician to join our assay development team. You will be
involved in the development of multiplexed immuno- and molecular assays for different applications.
Main Responsibilities
• Assist in the development, optimization and verification of protein and molecular assays
by planning, executing and reporting on assay development experiments in collaboration
with experienced team members.
• Draft and review laboratory protocols and other development documents.
• Work as an effective member of the assay development team to ensure goals and
objectives are met.
• Maintain documents and records in accordance with internal QMS processes and
procedures.
• Perform incoming QC for chemical and biological reagents, and prepare for storage under
controlled process.
• Participate in routine manufacturing and QC of MyCartis products.
• Contribute to general lab duties and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Profile
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or
similar discipline.
• Recently graduated students will also be considered.
• Knowledge on development of (multiplexed) assays for protein and/or nucleic acid
detection is a plus.
• Knowledge on GMP work environment or similar is preferred.
• Experience in analyzing and presenting scientific data to internal and external
collaborators is a plus.
• Pro-active and results driven mindset.
• Able to successfully plan, execute and track tasks within strict timelines.
• Excellent organisation, problem solving and computer skills (MS Office).
• Fluent in English (written and oral).
• Flexible and able to work effectively independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team.
