The Eighth Army Band consists of 58
highly trained soldier-musicians, and
is capable of performing everything
from traditional military marches to
chamber music, as well as the latest
country, pop, rock, and jazz tunes.
The Eighth Army Band continues in
a proud musical tradition started
almost 100 years ago. While
serving America in the Republic
of Korea, the Band truly is
“Freedom’s Ambassadors”,
providing inspirational musical
entertainment to Americans
and Koreans, as well as to all of
United States Forces Korea.
미 8군 군악대는 오십팔 명의 훈련된
음악가이자 병사들로 이루어져있으며 전통
군악 행진 컨트리, 락 가요까지 훌륭하게
연주할 수 있습니다. 미 8군 군악대는 거의
백 년 전부터 시작된 자랑스러운 음악
전통을 이어가고 있습니다. 대한민국에서
미군의 역할을 수행하며, 미 8군 군악대는
“자유의 대사”로써 주한미군을 포함해
한국인과 미국인에게 영감을 주는 음악을

Specializing in classical music,
marches, and show tunes, the
concert band is the largest musical
ensemble the Eighth Army Band
has to offer. The concert band has
made appearances all over the
peninsula, as well as in many other
Asian countries.
미8군 군악대의 콘서트 밴드는
미8군에서 규모가 제일 큰 밴드이며
클래식 음악, 행진곡, 쇼를 위한 곡을
전문으로 하는 밴드입니다. 콘서트
밴드는 한반도뿐만 아니라 아시아에
있는 다른 나라에서도 돌아다니며
공연을 합니다.

The Spartan Brass Band plays music from
America's most popular music genres,
ranging from New Orleans music, modern
funky brass, blues, and swing.The

attitude, with a hard-hitting playing
style suitable for the street, for schools,
festivals, or any event that requires
versatile and high-energy music.

Peninsula Winds is a small and very
portable instrumental group that is
the ensemble of choice when a more
subdued or somber atmosphere is
appropriate. Because of its size the group
can use smaller spaces and travel lightly.
Musical selections have ranged from
classical, Latin, marches and even a few
popular music arrangements.
