1. Wood Group PSN: Invoice Process Transformation (18 months)
Wood Group PSN experienced a cash flow crisis due to an unclear and slow invoicing
process. As Finance Manager, overhauled the invoicing process and sought bank
financing as needed during the transformation. Engaged stakeholders to scope process
restructuring requirements; mapped ideal process and conducted gap analysis; introduced
streamlined invoicing; trained staff on the new process; and negotiated a short-term loan
with a bank to float operations until cash flow stabilisation. Succeeded in overhauling the
invoicing process and vastly improving cash flow.
