Description:
WINCH DRUMS: Drums are steel fabricated and designed to specific loading capacity.
DIRECT DRIVE: A simple, direct‐drive design increases the efficiency of the winch and eliminates drive chains or bull gears, to maximize power output.
ELECTRIC MOTORS : The full range of LANGE heavy duty lifting winches is available with 3‐phase motors in any standard voltage at 50 or 60 Hz. Winch models
NLS 400, NLS 900, NLS 1400 and NLS 2000 are single phase in any standard voltage at 50 or 60 Hz. All motors are TEFC flange mounted and
conform to NEMA, EEMAC or IEC specifications.
GEAR REDUCERS: All LANGE heavy duty lifting winches utilize high efficiency helical worm or worm reducers.

1.8 Hydro Graphic/ CTD Winch
A winch suitable for lowering and hauling up of costly hydro graphic apparatus like Bathy‐therrnogt∙aph,
Reversible thermometers, Current flow meters etc., was designed, fabricated and tested at Off Shore
Fishing Station, Cochin. The first model of this winch is now in use on board the motor vessel Pratap,
a Tuna Long linger.

Description
1. The product‐group of winches represent a full scalar of winches
suitable for incorporating in your davit system.
2. The winches can be supplied with a smooth single drum,
a single two section drum(one on either side ).
as a standard,designed to meet the speeds and loads resulting
from double‐falls reeving.
3. The winches are normally deck‐mounted and are in full
accordance with the present SOLAS‐rules.

4. Hatch Covers
4.1 Folding Type
The system is suitable for container vessels, multipurpose vessels
and bulk carriers. These covers are dimension according to the
requirements for stowage of the containers in the holds and on the
cover panels as well as timber packages and heavy project cargo.
4.2 Lift On/off Type
Use of advanced stress‐calculation systems and computer‐aided
design technology for the steel structure enables the hatch cover
panels to accommodate higher container loading, while keeping
panel weights within the permitted maximum for handling by
shore cranes.
4.3 Multi Folding Type
The first‐ever folding hatch cover operated by externally located
hydraulic cylinders and crocodile arms. This innovative design,
known as the multi fold crocodile hatch cover, is still the ideal
solution for today's multipurpose/container vessels and coasters
which have long hatches, a short stowing space for the hatch cover
panels, and require an external operating system.
4.4 Piggy Back Type
The challenge concerned a new generation of bulk carrier whose
design required its hatch opening to be up to 80 per cent of its
width but without any stowing space in either direction. LANGE
Equipment subsequently developed a highly‐automated hatch
cover system to meet the cargo access needs of this vessel.

4.5 Side Rolling Type
LANGE Marine's side rolling hatch cover ensures that all the
requirements of the owners and regulatory authorities in respect
of the maneuvering, cleaning and tightening of the hatch cover
panels can be met in full. The company's continuous product
development results in a reduction in manufacturing time while
simultaneously ensuring a low weight of cover an maintaining the
strength requirements. LANGE Marine’s side rolling hatch covers
are of a simple, but cost‐effective construction and are designed
to fulfill the UR S21 rules from the International Association of
Classification Societies (IACS).
4.6 Single Flap Type
Open top container feeder vessels require watertight hatch cover
solutions for hold number one.LANGE Marine has developed a
hydraulically operated single flap cover which can be supplied to a
length or more than 40 feet. The open girder design allows
extremely high stack‐loads and maximum flexibility to
accommodate all container lengths.

The Pipe Handing Crane (PHC) is a deck operating crane,with a gripper connected at the boom tip.The crane is used for

These covers are dimension according to the requirements for stowage of the containers in the holds and on the cover panels as well as timber packages and heavy project cargo. 4.2 Lift On/off Type Use of advanced stress‐calculation systems and computer‐aided design technology for the steel structure enables the hatch cover panels to accommodate higher container loading, while keeping panel weights within the permitted maximum for handling by shore cranes. 4.3 Multi Folding Type The first‐ever folding hatch cover operated by externally located hydraulic cylinders and crocodile arms.
