344TH RECRUITING SQUADRON
The 344th Recruiting Squadron, commanded
by Lt. Col. Robert A. Firman, directs and operates
the recruiting activities of eight enlisted accession
flights with approximately 86 active-duty and 11
civilian personnel. Chief Master Sgt. Carla
Thornton is the squadron superintendent. Senior
Master Sgt. Haylee James is the squadron
production superintendent. The first sergeant is
Master Sgt. Eric Madden.
The 344th RCS is located in Arlington, Texas, and
covers a 106,000 square-mile area that includes:
Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi. Its
mission is to inspire, engage and recruit future
Airmen to deliver airpower for America.
