Given to under-graduate
students to earn their first
degree.
Grants range from $555 to
$5550 with an average
award of $3,800.
4. Pell Grants is dependent on:
The student’s financial
situation,
The cost of the school,
The student’s enrollment
status (fulltime or part-
time),
The length of attendance
(full year or less).
5. Qualification for Pell Grants:
A student needs to
submit the Free
Application For Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA) to
learn their expected
family’s contribution
(EFC)
A student with low EFC
will qualify for Pell
Grants.
6. How To Apply:
After filing a FAFSA, the
student receives a Student
Aid Report (SAR).
This SAR contains the
details about the student’s
EFC.
Further, the funds are
credited to the student’s
school account or given in
the form of a check.

through the participating
institutions to the
students.
