5. Lessons from 2020 (and other pullbacks)
• Don’t panic and throw good stocks out at any price
• Be wary of buying on margin, especially illiquid small caps
• A reasonable amount of diversification is important
• Try to ignore the noise, (screen watching)

• Governments and central banks will remain accommodative
• Post COVID bounce back will be robust, (savings ratio)
• Companies that have survived will post strong recoveries

• Commodities, especially metals (copper, iron ore, zinc, nickel, PGM)
• Robotics, automation, AI
• Green economy
• UK market is cheap
