PROBLEM
Consent Decrees mandating reductions of Com-
bined Sewer Overflow (CSO) events and the im-
plementation of Total Maximum Daily Loads
(TMDLs) for stormwater programs have made it
more complex and more costly to comply with the
higher level of hydrologic and pollutant control
performance requirements.
SOLUTION
GEOSTORM Water Drainage Cells make the
planning, design and construction of stormwater
Best Management Practices (BMPs) simpler and
less costly. GEOSTORM Cells manage storm-
water with greater safety and with less obstruc-
tion to pedestrian and vehicular traffic than
other BMPs.
GEOWEB®
Lower Project Cost
Unitary Design
Simplify Compliance
GEOSTORM cells include a 3D confinement sys-
tem that confines the open-graded aggregate
layer to keep it stable.
GEOSTORM Cells are ideal for
the management of stormwater in
roadways, bike lanes, roadway
shoulders, medians, boulevards
and landscape areas.
GEOSTORM™
Water Drainage Cell
The Complete Drainage System that Simplifies
Management of Stormwater Compliance
SURFACE OPTIONS
GEOSTORM Cells with either a hard,
porous surface such as paving
stones, or with a vegetated surface,
are engineered to provide predicta-
ble, consistent levels of pollutant
reduction and stormwater manage-
ment.
Strategically placing GEOSTORM-
Water Drainage Cells to intercept the
required runoff volume creates a sys-
tem that is compatible with existing
land use and provides the required
level of stormwater discharge control.
The internal structure of the GEO-
STORM Cells simplify construction
and create a strong, stable plat-
form that supports H-20 loading.
POLLUTION REDUCTION
A single GEOSTORM Cell removes 60 percent of the annual Total Suspended
Solids (TSS) and 52 percent of the Total Phosphorus (TP) loads from 0.1 acre
of impervious commercial area. The higher the local soils’ permeability, the
greater the pollutant removal. GEOSTORM Cell representatives can provide a
report of the pollutant load reduction specific to your project and soil conditions.
Multiple GEOSTORM Cells can also be used to mitigate the post-development
peak discharge from your site and increase pollutant reductions.
UNITARY DESIGN
The standardization of design assures that management facilities achieve their
intended objectives and adds to the bottom line for the owner of the facilities by:
 decreasing land requirements for stormwater practices;
 decreasing the initial capital cost to design and construct required BMPs;
 lowering maintenance costs;
 decreasing owners legal and safety risks caused by traditional storm-
water solutions, and
 allowing owners the opportunity to generate more revenue by increasing
available land.

(social, environmental and
financial) of your project.
