To Whom it May Concern,
John George Distefano was a volunteer in “SPOT Siemacha”
Association between June and August, 2012. Throughout a month he was
working in “Com-Com Zone” Nowa Huta Daytime Sociotherapy Center.
John had direct contact with pupils from 10 to 20 years old, daily
assisting tutors during different classes and various events organized by
center’s staff. On daily basis he was working mainly with the youngest
children, helping them with their homework and encouraging them to speak
English. She was involved in art and educational classes, automatically
motivating teenagers to use foreign language. Additionally she gave
a presentation about her country to the community of the center and she
cooked a traditional dish for the pupils.
This person proved he is reliable, engaged in his work and open for
new experiences.
