• Born: 20-04-38 in London. Educated: Mill Hill School
• 1957: Did not take up place at Guys Hospital. Taught, farmed, garage
management/sales, car hire ‘start-up’ and a ‘Heavy lift’ balloon Company.
• 1959: National Service. 1year in ranks by choice. 3 years Short Service Commission.
Captain/Adjutant.
• 1964: Called to the Bar.
• 1965: ICI Secretarial Department Millbank. A wide broadband appointment.
• 1966: Promoted to 3rd Secretary. Dyestuffs Division Manchester.
• 1967: Captain, Army Legal Services. Successfully required a reluctant War Office to
honour its agreed new terms for Army Legal Services and Judge Advocates
• 1967: Practice. Personal injury, Commercial and occasional ‘heavy crime’.
• 1972: Granted leave by Western Circuit to open new set of Chambers. [Youngest
applicant for Silk (QC) in Bar’s history. Initiated ‘practice transparency reform’.
Drafted and negotiated the current ‘Barrister’s ‘Delayed Loss of Income on
Illness’ Policy]
• 1974: Guinness Peat PLC. Exec. Asst., to Chairman and Group Legal Advisor with
general operational oversight over the conglomerate of some 200 companies in
banking, insurance, trading, investment, manufacturing and retail.
• 1976: New Zealand. International No 1 Best selling author, Airscream (Collins)
[Highest US Advance paid for a UK book].

Consultant to NZ Air Traffic Control (more pay awarded at lower cost
whilst Reagan was sacking the US Air Traffic Controllers).
International book tour. (Ist debut author BBC ‘Book Programme.’ Etc.).
• 1979: Eire. Consultant (gratis) Cork/Dublin Gas pipe line. Journalism.
Directorships/consultancies. Government Advisor, [Initiated 1980
reforms leading to an Irish Ombudsman, and Dail Committee system].
‘1984 ‘Speakers Prize’ awarded for foreign policy debate [once also
awarded to Erskine-Childers, 4th
President, the only other Englishman]
• 1985: UK: Rescued, and opened to the public, an early moated manor house.
• 1989: Cancer. Right lung lost - Pain, depression etc. Most uncongenial.
• 1989-2002: “A Lost Decade”. Incapacitated and unable to work. Came off
morphine (“cold turkey”). Began rehabilitation.
• 2003-2005: Contemplation. Invention and first patent applications.
• 2007: Proof of Concepts (2 Innovations). Patent ‘figure 20’ worked as specified.
• 2009: The NWDA offered a 100% ‘Large Company R & D Award’ [Adopting the
Thatcher/De Lorean precedent] to fund into sustainable export from UK.
• 2010: NWDA disbanded. Funding lost. R & D continued, aided by Universities.
• 2012: 3D modelled by way of industry standard CATIA software, by the Liverpool
University ‘Virtual Engineering Centre’.
• 2013: Pre-production PVM working prototype. Phizzit and PVM ready for specific
value engineering for production. Some 35 Patents granted or pending in all major
markets, continuing. Continuing R & D. Product development.
• 2015: Nitrogen Engine Patent Application GB 1506581.6 & Commercialisation.
