Flu Ad Campaign
Public Service Campaign
The Flu Ad Campaign consisted of three posters.
The purpose of these ads was to encourage flu shots.
The target audience was for high school students. For
this ad, illustrated characters were depicted in a real
world setting. The purpose was to use humorous yet
eye catching imagery to make the ads memorable.
Ninja characteristics were incorporated with a flu bug
to play off of a stealthy trait. The flu bug is never
detected until it takes effect, causing debilitating
discomfort. These ads were also meant to communicate
to the readerhow dangerous the flu can actually be.

pieces which would be placed throughout Seattle.
For this project, Andy Warhol’s “Moonwalk” was
used because it was an iconic image used by Mtv.
This image would resognate well in Seattle since
it was a city with a lot of musical influence. This
design was the chosen strategy that would bring
a lot of visitors to Seattle’s Art Museum.

6. Maya Angelou
Illustration Design
The Maya Angelou book was designed with illustration
inspired by the words from two poems: “Still I Rise”
and “Caged Bird”. The goal was to tell a visual story
from these powerful verses. The character, colors,
and layout were inspired by the featured poems.
Featuring two of Maya Angelou’s greatest works,
“Still I Rise” and “Caged Bird”, “Spirit of Triumph”
recounts the struggles of racial disrimination which
afflicted many lives throughout the United States for
over a century. Maya Angelou reflects the emotional
harrows from her own encounters with prejudice
through her writing. These words of tiumph over
oppression have influenced generations and touched
many lives, including Martin Luther King Jr., Barack
Obama, Oprah Winfrey.
