2. What is this course about?
The Foundations course explores three
areas of study: Living with God, Living with
Others, and Living with Yourself.
LIVING WITH GOD
Living with God helps us distinguish
between the voice of God and the host
of other human needs and prejudices
that clamour for our attention. How can
we stay connected to God so we live
according to His values?
LIVING WITH OTHERS
Living with Others shows us how to
“love your neighbour” the way God
intended. We can deepen our
relationships by learning to listen well,
give feedback and become aware of our
blind spots, assumptions and fears.
LIVING WITH YOURSELF
Living with Yourself explores the make-
up of our own souls. How did we get the
picture we have of ourselves? How do
the nervous system and hormones
affect us? What’s the difference
between true and false guilt? Can
attitudes be changed?

course at Knox Church earlier this year.
A letter from Pastor Eric
Hi! Thank you for considering
Foundations, a course for Christian
living.
We would love to get to know you
more. Our dream is that no one would
ever fall through the cracks in your
neighborhood and that everyone would
have a chance to get to know/be known
in our little part of Edmonton.
You can reach me at my office at
(780)432-7220 or contact us on
Facebook. If there’s anything we can do
help out or serve you, please don’t be
shy: we like that kind of thing.
