ASEAN aims to create a single market across Southeast Asian nations through economic integration initiatives. Indonesia has the largest economy in Southeast Asia, with a nominal GDP of $890 billion that is more than double the second largest economy. The Indonesian government has several initiatives to improve transportation and logistics performance, including the National Logistics System Program and the development of six economic corridors and a sea toll road to better integrate the large and diverse country.
