Job Description
 To carry out nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies,
standards and practice guidelines.
 Administer first aid in accordance with initial assessment of any casualty and
fulfill role as an emergency responder as required by site.
 Liaise with ambulance paramedics, hospital staff, police, fire brigades, and
employer and family members to ensure relevant information is collected and
proper treatment is administered.
 Complete reports on patient condition and treatment provided, keep records and
copy to line management.
 Maintaining inventory for medicines and all other emergency care equipment’s.
 Maintain up to date contact numbers of local emergency services and local
hospitals to ensure they are available at all time.
 Provide advice on occupational health/hygiene issues, conducting health
awareness campaigns, toolbox talks and carry out health assessment.
 Arranging transportation of sick, injured person to the Hospital.
 In addition, keep log of all consultation, diagnoses & sickness absence, particularly
those that are work related.
 Review employee’s fitness to work after returning to work following sickness or
injury.
 Tracking of known absentee liaising with line managers, camp bosses for updates
on their condition.
 Report to line management on all health and safety issues observed.
 Take care of all equipment’s, cleanliness of the unit, control and prevention of
Infections.
