led a smaller army to go and attack Ai

9. Yehoshua’s small army pretended to run away and
the king of Ai run after them and nobody was
protecting the city because the king`s soldiers went
with the king.

10. Yehoshua raised up his javelin as a sign to the soldiers
that they should light Ai on fire.
