Business impacts many areas of the world through the economy and government. The economy helps businesses thrive by boosting goods/services, jobs, and income. A strong economy leads to more consumer spending, growing businesses and creating more jobs. While income levels may remain the same, people view their income more positively during strong economic times. The government also influences business and society through taxation and regulation of goods/services as well as jobs and income by setting minimum ages and tax rates. Overall, the economy and government work together to shape society and business.
1. Business is a very powerful thing that can impact many areas of the world.
Without businesses the world would not be so platefuls and diverse. The economy and
the government help to shape business and society through its goods and services,
income, and jobs.
The economy has had a tremendous positive and constructive affect on
Business and society in goods and services, jobs, and income. Because of business the
economy thrives. This plays into goods and services because without the economic boost
business gives, no company would have the money to continue to supply goods or
services. Jobs also benefit from businesses impact on the economy in society. First of all,
business creates jobs. More people with jobs means more people with money which
relates back to the economy because typically when a person has more money they spend
more so that money is then going into the economy and it grows from there. Another
positive and constructive economic impact business has had on society is with its income.
The economy plays into income because when the economy is good, a persons income,
although the same, equals better then if the economy was bad. During a good economic
period a persons income is typically viewed as better and higher during those times even
if the amount they are making is the same as period of low economy. We saw this
recently during the recession of 2008. During those times although someone could have
2. been making the same as they are now, their income was most likely viewed as lower due
to the way the economy was at the time. Same if the roles were switched. now, that same
persons income it probably looked at as higher then it was in 2008.
The government also plays a big role in business and society through goods and
services, jobs, and income. Government as a whole has a lot of say in many of these
things. When it comes to good and services, Government can put taxes on certain goods
or regulate certain services which affects the way we the people are able to obtain certain
things or it can even affect how we do certain things. The government also plays into jobs
because government can decide certain people cant have a certain job. For example, to be
a bartender you have to 21 or older, or to work at many jobs you have to be 16 or older or
sometimes even 18. These rules are all due to laws made by the government which
affects the way us in society live. Government can have a big part in our income as well.
The government can raise and lower taxes and create new things to taxes people on so
our paychecks at the end of the week look the way they do due to the government.
The economy and the government work together in positively, or sometimes
negatively constructing out society and business through goods and services, jobs and
income.
