Jesper Boye Andersen is a Constructing Architect at BIG. He joined BIG in 2007 and worked
on the detail design of the award-winning 8 House, and returned in 2012 to work on the
new Amager Waste-to-Energy Resource Center in Copenhagen. Jesper has dedicated
his skill for detailed design to a number of BIG’s built projects, all of which demand
creative solutions due to their innovative forms. He previously worked on Rose Rock
International Finance Centre—a 588 metre high tower in Tianjin, China—and the LEGO
Brand House in Billund, which is currently under construction. Previous to joining BIG,
Jesper worked as a Constructing Architect at Svalebæk ApS. Jesper is a certified Safety
Coordinator, responsible for incorporating safety in all the design phases. He also holds a
certification as a registered ArchiCad consultant, and has been lecturering about BIM at
the Copenhagen School of Design and Technology.
