The objective of this student project is to design and implement a system and method for detecting, identifyingand recording
the location of a gunshot. The design includes a standalonedeviceas well as an android app,both capableof capturingthe audio
data and classifyingthe data as a gunshot. The utilization of Gaussian MixtureModels will beused in the classification process.
