This document analyzes organizational communication at Enterprise Holdings LLC (EAN Holdings). Effective communication, employee satisfaction, and civility are important for organizational success. Civility involves avoiding bullying, undermining coworkers, spreading rumors, and discussing touchy subjects. Artifacts represent organizational culture, such as a supervisor's office and company slogans. Globalization allows EAN Holdings to expand internationally through services like car rentals in other countries. The organization has a multicultural workforce that is diverse throughout all levels and handles calls in different languages.

“Professional civility avoids workplace misbehavior such as bullying, social undermining
(cutting coworkers down and casting doubt on their accomplishments), and spreading rumors
about coworkers” (Fritz, 2011, p. 14).

Globalization can be summed up as, “that trade occurs as U.S. organizations search for new
markets to sustain the economic growth that drives its economy and culture” (Steingard &
Fitzgibbons, 1995).
• EAN Holdings is an American organization that has developed economic growth by
providing services of “car rentals” to foreign countries.
e.g., Canada, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, etc.
• They not only provide car rentals, but also truck rentals, exotic car rentals, and sell cars.

“Multicultural organizations’ members are heterogeneous with diverse workforce distributed
equally throughout the organization, from bottom to top” (Kramer & Bisel, 2017, p. 361).
• Diverse employees throughout organization
• Talk to different people daily on the phone with different dialects of English
• Foreign language calls are transferred to multi-language specialist
