head or a penetrating object that disrupts the

Motor vehicle accidents: Car accidents, motorcycle accidents, and pedestrian
accidents can result in TBI when the head strikes an object or experiences a

potential to cause TBI.

Closed Head Injury: Occurs when the head is struck or jolted, but the skull
