It is with great pleasure I write this letter of recommendation for Janet Miller of Interior
Expressions Design. My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with her since
1999. She has helped us with four residences, so I am well aware of her capabilities.
Janet is professional, honest, dependable and very hard working. She has an upbeat,
positive attitude and is an excellent communicator.
We hired her initially to help us choose paint colors and rearrange our existing furniture.
We loved her and her creativity so much that we expanded our list to include buying
furniture, drapes, rugs and accessories. When it came time to sell this house, it showed so
beautifully, it sold in one day.
The next project was a 6200 square foot semi custom home in the suburbs. Janet was
with us from the beginning, picking cabinets, counter tops and flooring. Once it was
complete, she worked her magic and the end result far exceeded our expectations! This
house also sold on the first day!
During this time, she helped us update a three-bedroom condo in the mountains. This
included a complete kitchen remodel, new carpet, paint, drapes, paint, furniture and
accessories. She transformed it into a beautiful and relaxing retreat!
Our current project with Janet is a 3000 square foot urban dwelling. She functioned as the
contractor and was excellent at coordinating the workers and keeping them on task. The
different jobs she efficiently arranged included: retexturing all walls and ceilings; tear
out of the entire kitchen; finding a custom cabinet maker; ordering appliances,
backsplash, countertops; paint selection for walls; stain selection for floors; fireplace
redesign and resurface. Her extensive product knowledge and attention to detail made
this transformation a pleasant experience!
Janet has an exceptional sense of design and is a wonderful person. She has the ability to
take her clients’ ideas and make them a reality. I absolutely loved that she took time to get
to know us -to learn what we liked and how we lived. In fact, she was able to help us
define and refine our style! We have such fun shopping together to get just the right piece.
She allowed us to be very involved so our home is a reflection of us. We highly
recommend Janet with complete confidence!
