1996‐2000 Early Career Profile
Originating professionally from Daytona Beach in the early ninety’s. Laying a foundation in the hospitality industry as a
Bartender rising through the ranks to Production/Promotions Manager. Attended and later acquired the Recording studio
at the Audio Recording Technology Institute in Port Orange (ARTI). A 2,400 sq ft multi room fully digital production house
and started an Advertising Agency and currently owned Company The AVM Group. Took a year to explore opportunities
in the entertainment business by entering negotiations with Global Media & Top­notch Entertainment to go on the road as
the A1/Front of House Engineer for such bands as: Bad Company, Joan Jett, & many others. Upon return, was recruited
by Steve Penland and owner Chuck Bray to hotel giants “Ocean Resorts” as the Special Events & Booking Manager to a
team whose vision created/built Daytona’s Largest & Busiest Entertainment Venue worth 2.5 million dollars. Was
personally responsible for acquiring an annual budget averaging $250,000 to bring in National acts from sponsors: Coke,
Budweiser, Iron horse Motorcycles, and many others. Producing, Staffing, & promoting such events as: Blink 182,
Third­Eye­Blind, Kid Rock, Run DMC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, & Largest New Millennium Event in Florida “First Sunrise 2000”.
Producing and promoting some of the most successful events in the Daytona Beach Area and then on to Orlando in 2000
