2. During our opening to the film Hallowed
ground we represent 3 different main social
groups which are woman, men and religious.
In our film opening we do not represent
woman as most films do. In our film opening
we show the woman to be the most powerful
in the scene as she is able to over power and
kill the man.
Although this is unusual in most films it slightly
most common in horrors as woman tend to be
the first to fall victim to possession and other
paranormal fates. This has changed over the
years as in earlier horror films it tended to be
the men who killed the woman. This has
changed especially in paranormal and
psychological horror films.

3. In this media text that we have created we have shown
religious people to be kind and thoughtful as when our
priest saw that someone was in trouble he ran to help
the man in need.
Also, like in many horror films we have shown that they
can easily fall pray to the evil in the world in horror films
as they always seem to kill of the religious character
trying to help everyone else.
People in high religious places tend to be looked up to
and tend have power over people we tried to show this
to you in the beginning of the clip, but then he slowly
loses his power through out the clip

4. We also represented men in our clip, but not in the
conventional way.
In our clip Hallowed ground we showed him to be
weak and venerable and we had a kill woman kill him
off so we flipped the general gender stereotypes as all
though we wanted our clip to fit in a specific area of a
genre we also wanted our film opening to be unusual
and unique.
