• In the fall of 2013, the MDRT Foundation’s Board of
Trustees launched a relief program for the people
impacted by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. The
charity set aside $25,000 for relief efforts; the
MDRT matched that amount, bringing the total to
$50,000. Individual MDRT members may apply for
up to $10,000 in grant monies from this fund for
charities that directly provide relief in the areas
devastated by Haiyan. To receive funding, the
charities must meet the MDRT Foundation’s
Worldwide Grant guidelines. The foundation has
made these disaster relief funds available until July
31, 2014.
