1. Comic book budget
To assist with the production of my chosen idea, specific equipment is necessary in order to
make this work possible.
Equipment Purpose Cost
Pencils For obvious reasons, to allow (1 pack of 20) - £4
me to draw out my comic
book as well as create base
lines for my comic.
Fine liner pens Once my sketches are (1 pack of 10) - £6
completed I will be going back
over most of my sketches with
pen to help make them stand
out more as well as ensure
that they cannot be erased.
Sketch pad This will be necessary for £2-£5
producing my work on. I need
to make sure that my comic
has plenty of pages to allow
me to produce a sufficient
amount of work.
easel This will be used for me to £20-£30
rest my work on as I produce
it. It will also provide a solid
work surface which will allow
for me to work much more
easily rather than leaning
over my work on a table.
Lighting Lighting is most important as Lighting I already own but
it’ll allow me to see my work normally lighting used for
much more easily whilst comic book drawing will
allowing me to focus on cost around £15-£25
specific parts of my comic as
they begin to develop.
