I have been working in Theatrical Wardrobe since 1998 through both I.A.T.S.E. Local
#784 in San Francisco, CA and I.A.T.S.E. Local #500 here in South Florida.
From 1993-1997 I volunteered with Coming Home Hospice in San Francisco. I
began my volunteer work with them by cutting and styling the hair of people under their
care.
Prior to that I was in the credit union industry for 15 years.
From 1985 through 1987, I opened and managed beauty supply stores for The Milo
Corporation in Southern California. That company’s stores eventually were absorbed
by the Sally Corporation.
I was trained in Unisex salons and my strengths are cutting, color and permanent
waves. Even when I haven’t been active working in a salon, I have continued to do the
hair of family and friends. I have attended various hair shows and conventions over the
years in both Florida and California.
