Born and raised in Houston, Texas, where his father is a leading plaintiffs' attorney, Bill attended
Lamar High School and was class president. Bill graduated from the University of Texas in
Austin in 1987. He completed the law degree in South Texas College of Law, J.D in 1990.
In 1997, Bill Stradley become Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal
Specialization, and was re-certified in 2002 and 2007.Criminal Defense Attorney in Houston
since 1995. He is AV Preeminent® rated by Martindale Hubbell and has been named a
Texas Super Lawyer.
Before establishing Stradley, Davis & Reynal LLP, Bill was a chief prosecutor for the Harris
County District Attorney's Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, Bill handled the broad
spectrum of criminal cases, including fraud and white collar criminal cases. He was invited to
teach prosecutors about trial preparation and advocacy. Before his public service, he worked in
civil litigation.
