Make It your overall quest to maximize income while reducing your time expenditure. After all who doesn’t want to make more and work less?
One of the strategies you use in your affiliate marketing business to work towards this s is video. Now video is going to be produced, usually in one of two ways;
Webcam or camcorder.
The camcorder can come in a number of different varieties, shapes, and price ranges. It has the advantage of being mobile and more applicable to the types of affiliate
marketing videos that you'll be shooting. Although while you're sitting by your desk the Webcam will work just fine.
I've tried a few camcorders out, and there's no doubt that the more you pay, the better quality you get. However, I was curious about cheap camcorders for affiliate
marketing. Would they still provide a good enough quality that could be presented?
The first camcorder I tried was in the Vivitar series; this vendor produces a variety of camcorders to take video and still photos in a variety of price ranges. In an
after Christmas sale the Vivitar DVR 430 HD was on sale and I was able to pick it up for a little over $20. It appears this shoot a decent enough quality video and

give sound fairly simple to operate. I didn’t care too much for the quality once it got loaded up to YouTube; however this could be more a function of the SD card
rather than the camcorder.
So moving up the food chain a little bit I tried the Kodak Playsport Zx5, which costs around the $70 range. The price was reasonable enough on it for an affiliate
marketing effort.
Following the affiliate marketing goal of more from less, the camcorder
had to be simple, compact and its videos and photographs easy to share.
Ideally this would be at a touch of a button. What I didn’t want is have to edit or manipulate the output to share it.
While the Zx5 does have a share button, it does not have Wi-Fi so still has to be hooked up. The first economy test was to pull it out of the box see how quickly could
be set up and shoot the first video.
Now that this was not the first time I tried a camcorder for my affiliate marketing business on it. I knew the battery had to be charged which would take approximately
4.5 to 5 hours and they were true to their word on that. This allowed me to browse 12 pages or so of their manual. Their manual looks thicker than that but it's it
has a number of host of different languages.
Just to keep things straight in my affiliate marketing efforts, I did go to the Zx5 menu and set the date and time. Later I returned to the menu and increased the
microphone gain on the video, which appears to be a little bit soft. Other than those adjustments, that's all I did before I shot the first video.
The Zx5 appears to be a possible winner for my affiliate marketing business. However, the only thing I have not seen is share functionality. Currently the software
(Arcsoft Impression) has to be installed on your computer.
Kodak indicates that you should be able to plug the Zx5 into your computer, 2 drives will pop up one of which you can install the software from. After searching for
this software on 3 different computers, I was unable to locate this software. So, there is a support ticket out on that.
I think this camcorder will work well if I can get the share resolved.
I'm definitely looking forward to taking videos with my affiliate marketing business which
I feel will get better over time.
