Extracurricular and Volunteer Experience:
-Participated in European Union youth exchange programs in Botoşani, Romania (summer ’07)
and Catalnissetta, Sicily, Italy (December ’13). Met people from all over Europe and engaged in
workshops aimed at fostering European unity and growth of European identity over and above
national identities.
-Spanish translation and interpretation club at HSU fall 2011 and spring 2012. Translated various
documents for community organizations including schools and police departments, and
volunteered for the Latino Health Fair in Eureka as a group alongside various other volunteer
groups.
