We are all on time
We should all come prepared for each tutorial. This means reviewing any material
beforehand and coming ready with questions or comments
Active participation is also key. We should all strive to engage in discussions
and contribute to the learning process. However, it's important to do so with
respect for the perspectives of other students. When somebody speaks, we will all
listen and refrain from interrupting
Remember, it's OK to make mistakes and ask questions. We are all here to learn
and grow together. Let's make a commitment to helping each other understand the
material and asking for help if we are having difficulties

• Value is subjective: it depends on whether the end user
or ‘customer’ values what you offer
• This valuation is based on the customers’ own terms,
not on the entrepreneurs’ own terms.

start a small business.

• Negotiation is a critical skill that every
entrepreneur should master
• It's important to establish procedures and delegate
responsibilities to ensure that critical aspects of
your business don't change over time
• Creating a motivated team is also crucial. You want
to surround yourself with people who share your
passion and vision for your business.
• Finally, it's important to know when to move forward
and expand your brand horizons. This requires careful
planning and a willingness to take calculated risks.
Homework
You will be forming groups of 4-5 people and choosing one entrepreneur from the book "Thanks for Disrupting" or your own choice
and draw a mind map that you will be sharing with the rest of the class in a short 10 minutes presentation.
In your mind map, please include:
• A brief introduction
• Characteristics that reflect entrepreneur mindset & entrepreneurial characteristics
• Why you chose this specific entrepreneur
• A summary of their business contributions and challenges they faced
• How these entrepreneurs recognized business opportunities
• How they developed a successful business model
• What 'types' of innovation has your chosen entrepreneur engaged in? (E.g., Paradigm, Process, Product or Position)?
• What aspects of innovation has your chosen entrepreneur instigated, or developed?
• How their success can help you to develop your entrepreneurial mindset

  • 6. Ground rules We are all on time We should all come prepared for each tutorial. This means reviewing any material beforehand and coming ready with questions or comments Active participation is also key. We should all strive to engage in discussions and contribute to the learning process. However, it's important to do so with respect for the perspectives of other students. When somebody speaks, we will all listen and refrain from interrupting Remember, it's OK to make mistakes and ask questions. We are all here to learn and grow together. Let's make a commitment to helping each other understand the material and asking for help if we are having difficulties

Lessons learned after 8 Years as An Entrepreneur • Negotiation is a critical skill that every entrepreneur should master • It's important to establish procedures and delegate responsibilities to ensure that critical aspects of your business don't change over time • Creating a motivated team is also crucial. You want to surround yourself with people who share your passion and vision for your business. • Finally, it's important to know when to move forward and expand your brand horizons. This requires careful planning and a willingness to take calculated risks.

Homework You will be forming groups of 4-5 people and choosing one entrepreneur from the book "Thanks for Disrupting" or your own choice and draw a mind map that you will be sharing with the rest of the class in a short 10 minutes presentation. In your mind map, please include: • A brief introduction • Characteristics that reflect entrepreneur mindset & entrepreneurial characteristics • Why you chose this specific entrepreneur • A summary of their business contributions and challenges they faced • How these entrepreneurs recognized business opportunities • How they developed a successful business model • What 'types' of innovation has your chosen entrepreneur engaged in? (E.g., Paradigm, Process, Product or Position)? • What aspects of innovation has your chosen entrepreneur instigated, or developed? • How their success can help you to develop your entrepreneurial mindset
