2. A Piece of Cake at CEH
Starting a new contract is never easy and requires a huge effort by everyone
concerned to ensure that the challenge is overcome and our service begins in
the right fashion. It can never be described as ‘a piece of cake’ that’s for sure.
Or can it?
In October Indigo began supplying cleaning services to CEH at Wallingford in
Oxfordshire and on the first day were greeted by the new team with a home-baked
cake beautifully iced with “CEH welcomes Indigo”! The cake was arranged by our
new client Bev Manna and was baked by the on-site catering team at CEH. Clare
Jeffers, Indigo’s Business Development Manager remarked that, not only was this

with such a wonderful gesture, but it was “the best chocolate cake I have ever
