6. The Current Problem
Traditionally programming for African American market
01. Lack of Variety
Radio stations play the same
songs over and over again,
formats change with the wind.
Many music artists and genres
get very little airplay. Huge
portions of music label ’s
catalogue not monetized
efficiently.
04. Little Discovery
The consumer is overwhelmed by
90 million songs. Playlists lack
regular updates. There over 2
million podcasts. African American
authors and their audiobooks are
buried. Lack of trusted news
sources and information.
02. Radio Gaga
Too much DJ talk. Less music
engagement. Too many
commercials.
03. No Central Platform
There's no central platform where
customers can go to find music,
video, podcasts, news content
focused on the African-American
market.
Traditionally, radio programming for the African American market has been narrow and limited.
7. Our Solutions

news, Rattle Radio will provide listeners with
informative, trusted, non-gossipy news stories.
Digital Media

entertaining, informational, inspirational
and instructive shows with an emphasis on

The best way to think of this synergy: Sirius/
XM (radio) + Gimlet (podcasts) + Audible
(audiobooks) + Rolling Stone Magazine
(news) + Classic MTV (digital media).
9. Radio
The Rattle Radio Network is not inhibited by the
stereotypical definition of Black music. Our
stations are as diverse as our targeted audience.
Rattle Radio recognizes that great music comes
from great artists and not a mandate from
corporate executives. We play music from
established artists, and we also feature new and
independent artists.
Rattle Radio is a subscription free service.
We feature unique 24/7 radio stations
dedicated to African American artists playing
Rock, Country, Pop, Classical, Folk, Children’s,
Soundtracks, Show Tunes, and Live music.
Our Kidz Zone station will be hosted and
programmed by renowned Children’s Artist,
Uncle Devin.
10. Rattle Radio has developed 32 podcasts targeted to the African American listener that we
intend to release over the first three years of operation.
