To Whom It May Concern:
I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Mr. He Xiao. I have
known He Xiao since he first arrived at Ohio University and was a student in an upper
level biochemistry course I taught. I believe he earned one of the highest grades in the
class.
I was also a member of his graduate committee and the Department Graduate
Chairperson during Mr. Xiao’s time spent as a graduate student at Ohio University. As
such I am familiar with his research and background, including the paper he wrote as a
requirement for obtaining his M.S. degree.
I found Mr. Xiao to be an excellent student in all respects and I enjoyed
interacting with him. I know a colleague of mine who teaches analytical chemistry and
had Mr. Xiao as a teaching assistant came to rely heavily on him because He is smart,
reliable, considerate, very capable with instrumentation… and his English is excellent, a
attribute greatly appreciated by our undergraduates.
All in all, I recommend Mr. He Xiao to you most enthusiastically and without any
reservations whatsoever. He will be a great asset to whoever hires him.
Sincerely,
Marcia Kieliszewski
