Documents Required from Purchasing
QA department planning to conduct supplier evaluation thru the procurement department by collecting necessary
information from supplier.
Cost Reduction
Warehouse Department planning to reduce number of pallets in 3PL warehouse (RSA). However after the reviewed by
the QA for the product list, QA suggested not to store those items in ambient condition due to possible spoilage.
Supplier Compensation against Bolas Agro
Supplier compensation settlement has been made with Bolas Agro for rejected Cashew W240 and considered as conditionally
accepted.
GTHC May Order
Franchise department seeking for additional 1 extra carton on the pallet for GTHC order. The QA department recommended to
adhere the stacking standard procedure.
UAE Factory Shelf life extending
Export department suggesting of possible extending product shelf life for UAE and Iraq. QA department provide certain
products apply for 18 months and 12 months expiration date.
13. New Procedure
RAW MATERIALS, RETAIL TRADING AND CO-PACKING
PRODUCTS EVALUATION PROCEDURES (Final Draft)
OBJECTIVE
The purpose of this procedure is to describe the chain of events that are required to technically
evaluate the new and proposed products or raw materials. To ensure its ability to meet quality
and food safety, requirements and specifications of Rifai Standard and the local and
international food safety standards (FSMS).
SCOPE
This procedure applies to all new products and raw materials (Food, Non-Food) that are
suggested by the relevant departments. This procedure could also apply to suggested new
tools, technologies or services that may have an impact on food safety.

QA conducted analysis for In shell specification for UAE, raw specification result submitted to
Mr.Ghaith.

QA recommended machine trial in UAE before shifting to Kuwait

15. Complains/Issues
Smoked Seasoning Flavor
As per QA analysis, the smoked flavor which from Dubai shipment have some issue on visual appearance and taste.
QA requiring supplier to do investigation, root cause and correction action. On 26 April 2022, supplier submitted
corrective action report.
Pecan Hold and Recall
QA department instructed for hold and recall of Pecan salted caramel due to nutrition information which not provided
by supplier. In spite of concern, the QA recommended for product continuation and continues communication with
supplier.
Physical Hazards- Kamarredin Dried Apricot Paste
Poor packing, Improper closure of primary packing
Coffee Carton Opening Issue ( Caesar Pac. Loc 008724)
Coffee packing carton opening issue noticed. Concern was coordinated to procurement department and seeking for
corrective action.
Pumpkin Seeds Roll- Wrong Winding Direction
Wrong winding direction, concern was coordinated to procurement department and its total 5 defective rolls isolated.
Seeking route analysis and corrective action from supplier.

Inner and outer label mismatch in production date and expiration date.
Pistachio Slivered found carton variance (Mostafa Abbasi)
Customer found variance in carton, QA conducted investigation and send the request from procurement for supplier
corrective action. GRV was provided and shortage quantity will deduct from the supplier.
