Gunnarquickly stoodoutamongthe studentswithwhom I knownduringmy academic career, spanning
about40 years. He expresses himself in an articulate andenthusiasticstyle, hasa natural curiosity, is
committedto assumingandcarrying outsignificant responsibilities, and learns quickly. He’s intelligent
