Strength
ECO-TEKK series transit and shipping cases are
designed and built for durability and dependability.
This is an economical solution that has been specially
designed for the audio visual, television and music
industries. ECO-TEKK transit and shipping cases
are designed to stack securely and not crush when
stacked in standard transportation configurations.
ECO-TEKK cases offer the ability to hold greater
weights securely, than plastic options.
Aluminum is the natural choice for performance
grade cases because of its combined strength,
malleability, and superior corrosion resistance. ECO-
TEKK transit and shipping case shells are built with
5052-H32 aluminum, one of the strongest formable
grades available. The panel joints are formed and
integral to the case, providing unrivaled strength and
integrity without the use of angle extrusions.
DURABILITY
As a substitution for wood construction cases, the
ECO-TEKK series of transit and shipping cases have a
performance life that is much longer than wood. One of
the reasons for this is that the material that the box is
made of will not rot, mold or absorb moisture the way
wood does. ECO-TEKK will dramatically reduce repair
down time and the continuous cost of repair that is
common with wood lined cases. As with all StratusDMI
products, the ECO-TEKK series transit and shipping
cases have a limited lifetime warranty. ECO-TEKK is the
right choice for anyone who in investing in mobilizing
electronics in bulk.
With high performance designs and materials, ECO-TEKK
transit and shipping cases can withstand temperature
extremes without blistering, delaminating, warping,
softening, cracking or fracturing. ECO-TEKK series cases
are lighter than plastic and plywood cases of equivalent
strength, and can withstand very high superimposed
(stacking) loads without failure.
RELIABILITY
Designed primarily for the professional news agency
or large band that needs to ship high value and
mission critical equipment where failure is not an
option, ECO-TEKK series transit and shipping cases
are the logical upgrade choice for the audio visual,
television and music industries who want long
lasting, hassle free protection for their valuable
equipment. ECO-TEKK series transit and shipping
cases are built to very tight tolerances.
Our process controls and machinery accuracy allow
ECO-TEKK cases to be manufactured to tighter
tolerances than our competitors’ roto-molded and
plywood laminate cases. For OEM’s, this level of
accuracy means that third party components such as
instrument panels can be installed with confidence
because our precision manufacturing ensures an
accurate fit for every case, regardless of quantity or
when the case was built - today, tomorrow or five
years from now.

CUSTOMIZATION
Most case manufacturers customize cases by
applying aftermarket modifications to an existing
case. At Stratus DMI, we take the Front-End
approach to customization. Regardless of quantity
or complexity, we customize your case in the design
phase before manufacturing begins. Whether you
simply need an extra handle, a custom panel and
flange, foam insert or climate controlled interior,
our accurate, methodical approach means that
regardless of your deadline or the number of cases
you require, every case will be identical.
DESIGN
ECO-TEKK series transit and shipping cases are built
with clean lines and hardware which accents the
clean look of the case. No oversized ribs or recesses.
No unsightly extrusions. No blistered or peeling
laminates. Attention to quality and detail is what
sets ECO-TEKK series transit and shipping cases
apart from the others. Over time, our aluminum
shells will gain a natural patina, which many clients
find desirable. For customers who require brand
oriented packaging, cases can be powder coated with
a durable finish. In addition, ECO-TEKK series transit
and shipping cases have large flat areas, which are
ideal for screen printing and the placement of labels
or placards.

Strength
PRO-TEKK series transit and shipping cases are
designed and built for strength. Aluminum is
the natural choice for performance grade cases
because of its combined strength, malleability,
and superior corrosion resistance. PRO-TEKK case
shells are built with 5052-H32 aluminum, one of
the strongest formable grades available. The panel
joints are formed and integral to the case,
providing unrivaled strength and integrity without
the use of angle extrusions. The PRO-TEKK valance
is a highly effective closure system. Square tubular
profiles are joined by precision cast aluminum
corner lugs. This design provides rigidity and
ensures the lid and base fit effortlessly and
accurately - even after years of service and abuse.
DURABILITY
With high performance designs and materials, PRO-TEKK
transit and shipping cases can withstand temperature
softening, cracking or fracturing. PRO-TEKK series cases
are lighter than plastic and plywood cases of equivalent
strength, and can withstand very high superimposed
(stacking) loads without failure.

Strength
Designed to ship and protect high value, mission
critical equipment where failure is not an option,
MIL-TEKK series hardened transit and shipping
cases are the professionals’ choice for defense
applications. With unmatched strength, MIL-TEKK
series cases maintain their shape and integrity
under high superimposed (stacked) loads, so
mission critical components aren’t compressed due
to case shell fatigue or failure. Designed and built
for use in all-climactic regions, MIL-TEKK cases are
unaffected by temperature and weather extremes.
No sag, no creep, no warp… no problem.
DURABILITY
MIL-TEKK series case shells are manufactured from
5052-H32 aluminum and seam welded to ensure
water tight integrity. Case hardware (latches, handles,
tie-downs, etc.) is 300 series stainless steel. All cases
have automatic pressure equalization (breather)
valves as standard, with manual breather valves
and Gore™ membrane vents optional. External ribs
protect case hardware from glancing blows and
provide additional case rigidity. MIL-TEKK transit
cases have stainless steel stacking feet and larger
shipping cases have a stackable, wear resistant skid
pad system.
RELIABILITY
With their unique valance (patent pending),
MIL-TEKK series cases are without equal in water
tight integrity. High strength, square tubular
aluminum profiles are bonded to precision
investment cast aluminum corner lugs to form the
(lid / base) valance. Each valance is seam welded
to the case shell. The valance is unique in that it
promotes drainage away from the case interior
and prevents water pooling. Two field replaceable,
continuous gaskets provide seal redundancy.

PRECISION
MIL-TEKK series transit and shipping cases are
built to very tight tolerances. Our process controls
and machinery accuracy allow MIL-TEKK cases
to be manufactured to tighter tolerances than
plastic cases. For defense contractors and systems
integrators, this level of accuracy means that third
party components such as instrument panels or an
internal chassis can be installed with conﬁdence. Our
precision manufacturing ensures an accurate fit for
every case, regardless of quantity or when the case
was built - today, tomorrow or five years from now.

comes with a limited lifetime warranty against
materials and workmanship.

MIL-TEKK is the case of choice for defense and security professionals who deploy high value, mission critical rackmount
electronics. MIL-TEKK shock-mounted rackmount cases are available in standard sizes ranging from 3U (5.25n in.) to 40U
(70.0 in.) with rack depths of 18, 24, and 36 inches. Built for strength and durability, MIL-TEKK rackmount cases can hold
up to 500 lbs. of electronics without deforming the rack frame or case shell – lids always fit effortlessly.

Designed and built for use in all-climactic regions,
RES-TEKK cases are unaffected by temperature and
weather extremes. No sag, no creep, no warp…
no problem.
DURABILITY
RES-TEKK series case shells are manufactured from
watertight integrity. Case hardware (latches, handles,
tie-downs, etc.) are recessed. All cases have automatic
pressure equalization (breather) valves as standard, with
manual breather valves and Gore™ membrane vents
optional. RES-TEKK series transportation systems have
embossed stacking features built into the system.
This offers a positive connection for superior stack
stabilization during air lift or road deployments. Our
RES-TEKK series is built using the “PETS” System
methodology. This system was designed by the President
of Stratus DMI (a retired Task Force Leader) over 15
years ago. It has been field tested and refined during
that time. Our latest refinements have made this already
dependable transportation system even better. This air
lift ready, all weather disaster response system brings
deployment organization to a new, previously unachieved
level. It is so proprietary that you will have to contact us

RELIABILITY
With their unique valance (patent pending),
RES-TEKK series transportation systems are without
equal in watertight integrity. High strength, square
tubular aluminum profiles are bonded to precision
(lid / base) valance. Each valance is seam welded
to the case shell. The valance is unique in that it
promotes drainage away from the case interior
and prevents water pooling. Two field replaceable,
continuous gaskets provide seal redundancy.

Designed and built for use in all-climactic regions,
MED-TEKK cases are unaffected by temperature and
weather extremes. No sag, no creep, no warp… no
problem.
DURABILITY
MED-TEKK series case shells are manufactured from
watertight integrity. Case hardware (latches, handles,
tie-downs, etc.) are recessed. All cases have automatic
pressure equalization (breather) valves as standard,
with manual breather valves and Gore™ membrane
vents optional. MED-TEKK series transportation
systems have embossed stacking features built into the
system. This offers a positive connection for superior
stack stabilization during air lift or road deployments.
Our MED-TEKK series is built using the “PETS” System
methodology.
This system was designed by the President of Stratus
DMI (a retired Task Force Leader) over 15 years ago. It
has been field tested and refined during that time. Our
latest refinements have made this already dependable
transportation system even better. This air lift ready, all
weather disaster response system brings deployment
organization to a new, previously unachieved level. It
has also been proven in the field by the Ontario EMAT
Team as well. They adopted this system several years
ago with great success. It is so proprietary that you will

RELIABILITY
With their unique valance (patent pending), MED-
TEKK series transportation systems are without
equal in watertight integrity. High strength, square
tubular aluminum profiles are bonded to precision
(lid / base) valance.
Each valance is seam welded to the case shell. The
valance is unique in that it promotes drainage away
from the case interior and prevents water pooling.
Two field replaceable, continuous gaskets provide
seal redundancy.
