2. The Gonzalez Regimen is a cancer diet therapy designed more specifically
for patients with pancreatic cancer. This complex treatment plan is
composed of pancreatic enzymes found in pigs along with vitamins and
minerals for a complete cancer nutrition package.
Gonzalez Diet for Cancer
The therapy is shown to rid toxins from the body, balance the nervous
system, and keep a healthy immune system. This complex plan is broken
down into three major parts; a diet, coffee enema, and pancreas enzymes.
Diet Coffee Enema Enzymes
The diet is completely
variable, however
only organic foods
are recommended.
A coffee enema is
taken twice daily to
enhance liver
functions that control
metabolic wastes to
help prevent flu-like
symptoms from the
detoxification.
The pancreas
enzymes are taken in
a capsule by mouth
(around 45g of
pancreas daily); 130-
160 doses of other
nutrition
supplements are
taken by mouth daily.

Summary Statement: In 1993, Dr. Gonzalez presented a series of case reports at the
National Cancer Institute and at that point he was suggested to conduct a study of patients
suffering advanced pancreatic cancer. His diet incorporates 3 basic components:
individualized diet, individualized supplement programs and detoxification routines like
coffee enemas. The diet differs with the stage and type of cancer. Some advised diets may
be pure vegetarian to “carnivore” diets that require red meat with the fat. The consumption
of “organic” or “raw” foods are encouraged. Also, there are enzymes that must be
consumed that are not available over the counter.

patients suffering advanced pancreatic cancer. His diet incorporates 3 basic
components: individualized diet, individualized supplement programs and

expensive as “organic” or “raw” foods are encouraged. Also, there are

Time is of the essence as this diet requires time to prepare meals and
purchase them as all ingredients are not available at traditional grocery
store. The diet is not that restrictive in a sense. The key components of the
diet are traditional. One way to improve the diet is to make it more
streamlined. The details of the diet differs to the situation which can be
confusing. The diet is tasteful and has a lot of options on what to consume.
