Trekking in The Himalayas is one of the famous adventure sports awaiting the trekking enthusiast in Hiamalaya. the mountain ranges of Himalayas offer breathtaking, enthralling trekking routes. there are limitless possibilities for trekking tours, mountaineering, skiing, and white river rafting.
2. Trek to Har Ki Dun
ā¢ If you have seen 'Lord of the Rings' and been awe of the landscape
in it, then Har ki Dun will blow your mind with the smorgasbord it
has to offer. There are endless lush meadows, wild alpine flower
gardens, scraggy mountains, towering snow-capped peaks, glaciers
and gushing streams & waterfalls that seem to spring from
nowhere. The valley also has a very interesting and culture, very
different from any other region around.
3. Trek to Valley of Flowers & Hemkund Sahib
ā¢ The Valley of Flowers is a world heritage site and a part of the famous
Nanda Devi Biosphere. This national park in the far interiors of
Garhwal Himalayas (Uttarakhand) is spread over 87.5 sq. Kms. Over
the years many nature lovers from across the globe have been visiting
the valley only to be left spell bound by its beauty.
4. Summer Trek to Kuari Pass & Pangarchula Peak
ā¢ The Kuari pass trek, also referred to as the Lord Curzon trail trek, is
surely one of the most popular and finest treks in the Indian
Himalayas and rightly so. According to us only thing missing on this
trail was the āadventure elementā so we modified the regular itinerary
a bit and added an exciting stage to this trek where you get to climb a
challenging but doable Himalayan peak called Pangarchulla (4700 m).
This peak can be climbed by āfitā first time trekkers also but with some
hard work put into it!!
5. Trek to Hampta Pass Chandratal
The striking highlight of any trek involving crossing over a pass into the
Lahaul/Spiti region is the wonderful contrast in landscape that one gets
to enjoy and this trek is similar in this regard. We start from absolutely
lush green valleys of Kullu & Manali and land up in semi-arid region of
the Lahaul valley. This wonderful trail is meant for everyone, right from
fit/adventurous first timers to seasoned hikers.
6. Trek to Rupin Pass
ā¢ This is a great trek for people with experience as well as for
beginners looking to stretch themselves. It has just one slightly
difficult day, the day you cross the pass where one would need to
exert a bit more than the other days. On this trek you move from
one state (Uttarakhand) to the other (Himachal) it is no wonder that
there is lots of variety on offer. One gets to appreciate the different
landscapes and culture of the Rupin valley towards Uttarakhand and
Sangla valley in Himachal.
7. Trek to Nagtibba
ā¢ This is a probably the finest weekend trek in the country. The starting
point of the trek and the finishing point are easily accessible and very
close to Dehradun, which in turn is very well connected with other
parts of the country. So close, yet one can reach an altitude of more
than 3000 mts and hike in an absolutely remote region with almost
no habitation. Another great attraction of this trip would be the
camping experience.
