Home gardeners will recognize how some fruits and vegetables grow in their gardens, such as the favorite tomato or cucumber—but some we never see before harvest. With its warm climate, Mexico is home to a number of fruits and vegetables that make their way to tables across the world. How this produce grows, however, is sometimes surprising.
