2. 1. FOUNDATION TO INSURANCE
The relevance of insurance in a long-term plan increasesas we progress
through life,find a partner,raise a family,and even start a business. This is
because insurance is all about providing a financial safety net that allows
you to care about when you need it most. However, some people,
believe that they do not need insurance since they can save enough
money to support their family in the event of their death.

3. 2.CLASSIFICATION OF INSURANCE
Any unexpected event in the life might have a serious affect on your
family’s well being . In such cases, many types of life , health, and general
insurance policies are available in India, providngfull financial protection
for both your loved ones and yourself. At the same time , you can protect
your assets and property by purchasing insurance . However, before
obtaining an insurance policy,it is essential to understand the many types
of insurance policies available and then select the ones that best meet
your needs.
The various types of insurance policies available today can be broadly
classified into two types they are;

*General Insurance

your spouse and children . Your death would financially ruin the entire
family in such a case. Life Insurance policies prevent this from
happening by giving financial help to your family in the event of your
death. Life insurance policies are of many types.

General insurance protects us and the things we value, such as our

of legal action taken against us. And we may select the type of risks
we want to cover by selecting the correct type of policy with the
features we require.

time.

Shares are an investment avenue that gives the highest possible returns, but it is also quite dangerous, as there is a
high possibility that investors will lose some or all of their invested funds. shares can provide yearly ranging from 15
to 50per cent in good times and negative returns ranging from 5 to 15 in bad times . Bad times. Begore investing in
stocks, investore must understand the fundamental of the stock or equity market.

and managing risk and performance.

The debt market is a market whare various types of fixed income
instruments are issued and traded. Debt markets are therefore markets for fixed-income securities
issued by central and state governments, municipal corporations, government bodies and commercial
entities such as financial institutions, banks, public sector units and companies.

14. PMAY Loans UNDER PRADHAN MANTRI AWAS YOJANA
The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) was launched with the goal of
providing “Housing for All” by 2022 to solve the urban housing scarcity among the Economically Weaker Section
(EWS)/ Lower Income Group (LIG) and Mid-income Group (MIG) categories. Interest subsidy on housing loans for
acquisition and development will be offered to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS)/ Lower Income Group (LIC) .
The Credit Linked Subsidy would also be available for house loans taken out for new construction and incremental
housing, such as the addition of rooms, kitchens and toilets to existing dwellings. The interest subsidy benefit will be
applied to the outstanding principal.

15. Self Managements
Self-management refers to our ability to govern our behaviour, thought and
emotions in a conscious and productive manner. It involves knowing your own responsibility in all
aspects of your life and doing what is necessary to achieve that responsibility.
