PRIX DE LA PHOTOGRAPHIE PARIS (PX3) ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF PX3 2015 COMPETITION.
George Digalakis (http://www.digalakisphotography.com/) was Awarded: Second Prize in category Fine Art
for the entry entitled, " Trees with birds in the mist ." The jury selected PX3 2015’s winners from thousands
of photography entries from over 85 countries.
Px3 is juried by top international decision-makers in the photography industry: Carol Johnson, Curator of
Photography of Library of Congress, Washington D.C.; Gilles Raynaldy, Director of Purpose, Paris; and Alice
Gabriner, World Picture Editor of Time Magazine, New York. etc
ABOUT Px3:
The "Prix de la Photographie Paris" (Px3) strives to promote the appreciation of photography, to discover
emerging talent, and introduce photographers from around the world to the artistic community of Paris.
Winning photographs from this competition are exhibited in a high-profile gallery in Paris and published in
the high-quality, full-color Px3 Annual Book.
About the Winner: George Digalakis was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He is a self-taught fine
art photographer. Long exposure waterscapes is the main subject of his work, but he also finds himself
drawn to urban photography, with water reflections and bicycles a recurring subject. He has participated in
many group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. His work has been presented in many international magazines
and he has won first and second places as well as other distinctions in various competitions.George lives and
works in Athens, Greece.
