"Pizza Camp Making" at Greenwich Valencia City branch

1. Cookery Student Grades 9 and 10 of
Bangcud National High School
At Greenwich Valencia City Branch
Exposure is one of the Best Experience a student must have.
My Cookery Class from Grades 9 and 10
from BEC (Basic Education Curriculum) of
Section Helium, Krypton, Fluorine from Grade
9; Rizal, Jacinto, Xenon, Aguinaldo and
Bonifacio from Grade 10; and My Only Grade
9 TechVoc (Technical Vocational Curriculum)
Galileo. We have decided to have an exposure
to one of the well-known and highly respected
company in Food Business. That was early this
school year 2016 – 2017, my class were so
excited knowing that they will be making a Pizza on their own. It was a package of Value Meal
that includes their own made Pizza, a Chicken, Spaghetti and softdrink.

2. The smiles and enthusiasm of every
student came so excited when the day came on
February 11, 2017. We are book to be in by
7:30 in the morning. What makes us more
excited is that “WE ARE THE FIRST PIZZA
CAMP MAKERS” to the newly opened
Greenwich Valencia City Branch, along the
National High way, New Crew, New Manager,
New Building. We are so blessed knowing that it was all our First time with each other. Frommy
21 students to every crew they have. We are very much welcome seeing that every cornerof their
establishment, we are so free to take photos.
The Lecture and Program started with a Prayer, Welcome Message, Getting to know the
Resource speaker and of course the participants. We were
introduced by their Company History, Food Handling, and
exposure to their establishment, until each of them are given
the chance to make their own Pizza, a tour to their kitchen,
they are given the chance to see how it is being cook from
the oven until it reaches to the Packaging. I was also given
the chance to make my own Pizza. Every student were given
a free apron and hairnet, they thought on proper hand
washing, that is before entering the kitchen with
a complete PPE (Personal Protective
Equipment).
Each one of them were given a Certificate as
a poof that they pass the Food Handlers Class
and a certified Pizza Maker.
Our experience so with the crew is so unforgettable knowing that they gave each of them
an assurance that when each of them reaches the adult age, they will be given the chance to work
in their establishment.

3. As a simple gesture, we are so
proud knowing that the Bangcud
National High School Cookery class
were now Part of their history, and for
my student such experience on
exposure is of great help to them in
opening their mind to love the Food
Business Industry someday.
